We enjoyed an autumn romp after school pick up on Friday. We are so lucky to live on this beautiful park and the boys really do take full advantage of all it has to offer. We were busy collecting autumn leaves, twigs, conkers, acorns, feathers and bits of bark for some awesome autumn crafts during half term. Stay safe everybody ✌🏻 and have a happy Halloween half term. Another day, another romp in the park 🌳🌲🌳
When Sonny saw I had started making hats again he requested a new green and blue bobble hat. The green is a colour I have in stock but the blue is “frogged” yarn from a giant blanket I made about 10 years ago, we were no longer using it so I unravelled it and I am slowly using the yarn to make new house hold items (baskets!). Sonny is a great model, cute and happy to pose, swipe right to see close ups 💛 DM if you would like to order a original bonnet or bobble hat, so many juicy colours available.

I have finally managed to get some pictures of Larry modelling my new style pixie bonnet 💛 these are available to order in baby soft acrylic (in mustard, dark grey, light grey, pink, blue, soft yellow, purple and white...) or in 100% cotton (in light grey, dusky pink or mustard. Limited stock). I have also made a version in a chunky flecked yarn. I will add photos of the yarn choices to my stories / highlights. It’s been a while since I posted any WIP on here, I found one ball of this lovely chunky mustard yarn at the back of a shop shelf and couldn’t deny myself a new winter hat. Any other mustard lovers out there?

New hat design is finished and I’m never taking it off 😻

As many of you know, I’m useless at following patterns which is why all my hats are Original Golly Gumdrops designs 👍 If I want to make something I just work it out and create a pattern, just like this one 💛
