Small space, limited budget, lots of thinking.

This compact home office was part of my Wimbledon project, where the brief was to make the space work as hard as possible without overcomplicating it.

I kept the design clean and practical, adding the oak upstands as a small detail to give the desk a bit more presence whilst also quietly referencing the oak balustrades I designed upstairs, bringing a cohesive flow to the whole space rather than a series of separate rooms.

New project reveal 💫

The objective for this design in Wimbledon was to create a primary suite that is calm, stylish and filled with light.

It was a complete renovation replacing the carpet with herringbone flooring, creating a dressing room area with bespoke joinery and modernising the space with solid oak floor to ceiling balustrades. We made the most of the natural light by drenching the space with a soft white that was used everywhere, including the joinery. The en-suite was included in the renovation making the compact space work hard and avoiding excess with a simple colour and materials palette.

Striking, but still simple. That is the balance with this piece.

I wanted the repeated curves to create something memorable as you walk into the office, but without the joinery feeling too busy or over-designed.

It took a lot of development to get there — working through the proportions, the rhythm of the curves, the shelving and the storage below, as well as the technical side of actually making it all work.

Simple, yes. Easy, absolutely not. But definitely worth the challenge!

A narrow bathroom, reworked into a calmer en suite.

This bathroom formed part of a wider renovation, but even on its own it shows how much a compact footprint can change with better planning and a more restrained material palette.

Throwback to my Clapham Common project on this beautiful sunny day ☀️.

The brief was to make a family home practical for everyday life as well as entertaining guests. The clients wanted to keep the deep blue walls upstairs, so I built on that with new furniture, soft furnishings, artwork and bespoke joinery. Downstairs, the basement became a more practical and inviting part of the house with generous storage and a darker, cosier feel.

Project reveal 💫. This one was all about making an impact!

This office space needed to feel welcoming, memorable and aligned with the brand, without losing practicality. The central arched feature defines the walkway, creates space to display merchandise and includes storage, while the rest of the scheme brings in warmth, colour and better zoning.

Interior design is often about problem solving. A lot of the projects I work on have spaces that need to be multi-functional…an office that is also a guest room, kitchen dining area, a living room that is practical as well as looking fabulous !

The challenge is usually less about fitting more in, and more about deciding on the priority use with the client, how the space should flow, and then planning accordingly.

A high street kitchen, elevated with better planning and bespoke details 💫

When the budget doesn’t allow for a fully bespoke kitchen then invest in a few key elements to raise the bar from high street to high end 👌. The kitchen cabinets are from a high street brand, but the space has been elevated using a beautiful Taj Mahal quartzine worktop, brushed brass hardware and a show-stopping lighting feature. Zoning the space to create a family dining area with bespoke banquette seating makes the area feel spacious whilst being super practical.

New project reveal 💫

This Dulwich apartment was a full renovation, but the biggest changes were to how the space worked.
We increased the size of the kitchen to cover two walls, the bathroom became an en suite, the bedroom space became more usable through better positioned joinery, the living area was defined through furniture placement which created defined zones whilst still creating a cohesive flow.

When a colour scheme is continued through the artwork it can be a beautiful thing 💙. These stunning prints by were chosen for the relaxed mood they create but also because they perfectly compliment the rest of the room.

Sometimes the scheme starts with the art, sometimes the art is the final piece that ties everything together at the end.
