My name is Rachael, I am a working mum to 2 beautiful children. I took up sewing as a hobby and became slightly addicted - addicted to making things and buying fabric!! I find fabric anywhere and everywhere, rather than buying in bulk. My inspiration is my children, there likes and loves. My little girl now has more bags, and dresses than she will ever need. And so 'Lily Loves x' was born...

Apologies that it's been so long since I posted anything on this page. Life has been busy, lots of house stuff to sort, my eldest turned 10 and I hit the big 40!
Whilst my very wonderful friend Sew Classic Ltd is making blinds for our lounge, I thought I'd make a lamp shade as I couldn't find any I liked.
I was really chuffed with attempt no.1, but having put the frame on upside down - it became a pendant shade instead of a lamp shade!!
Tonight's attempt has been a tad more successful - what do you think??

Christmas fairs all finished now, unfortunately I have had to pull out of next week's charity evening which is a real shame.
Can't believe Christmas is just around the corner!!
I'm going to stock up my etsy shop over the coming week, so please take a look if you are in need of any last minute gifts.

Sooo chilly today. I believe we are expecting snow this week. Wrap up warm folks.Think I may just stay in doors and sew!

Very little sewing has been done but I've booked in a few Christmas fairs so I has best get a riddle on.......
