Started work on my very first quilt for my own gorgeous little girl made from all her first baby clothes and favourite outfits 🥰

Ever wonder how long it takes to create a keepsake? 🧵

Most of the time isn’t just sewing, it’s in the prep which includes… sorting, stabilizing, cutting, and planning so every piece tells the story it should AND taking a solid amount of time admiring those gorgeous letters 😭🥳

And to add a note... with all these times, it's usually done between my own babies nap times! But she IS now 9 months so I'm sure she can start helping to sew soon... 👀 🤭

​I’m currently in my "upcycle everything" era, and I thank Freddie’s mama for trusting me in making his birthday banner. 🎂

I matched each letter to the patterns of his favorite outfits. It’s sustainable, sentimental, and (honestly) looks way cuter than anything you could buy in a store.
