Bride share ... a LEAD TIME is the time it takes for your dress to arrive once ordered

On average, dresses can take 20 weeks to prepare ...
.. that means a dress ordered today won't arrive till June 2026!

(Remember that you will also need to factor in any alterations with a seamstress)

Please, please don't wait till the last minute to search for your dress. Give yourself sufficient time to enjoy the process

Merry Christmas to you and yours! A huge thank you for your custom this year, it’s been another busy one playing my part in many weddings and military events.
2025 ended with a busy and exciting time by taking a trip to St James Palace to meet King Charles and the Queen as a fitting end to my husbands deployment. A true honour and privilege!
I am nowtaking a few days to spend with my family before getting back to stitching in the new year!

Why are beaded dresses more expensive to alter?
I think this behind the scenes photo explains it! These are just some of the beads removed to alter the straps and side seams. Each strand of beading has to be secured on the dress to avoid any further beads falling off.
At the end of the alteration process, beads needs to be meticulously stitched back in place to follow the original pattern style. It is a time consuming process but if each step is not followed, it can result in many broken needles, discomfort for the person wearing it and glaringly obvious alterations!
After a beaded and sequin dress alteration, I’m finding sequins and beads for weeks after 🤪

Tin, 10 years married for us today! Great minds think alike and we both got each other a treat from in Helston. They have a fabulous selection of wedding rings if you are still looking!
Many of my brides ask if I did my own alterations and they honest answer is no. I had a lovely seamstress back in Somerset who did the alterations for me and was my first introduction to bridal!
