Rejuvenate Support for Carers living in Herefordshire. Rejuvenate ! They just want to get this message across to others Carers, whatever their age or ability.

Our story

In October 2016, Maggie and Lisa first bumped into each other at The Courtyard, Hereford at the screening of the film 'Yarn'. Little did they know that almost a year later they would be launching Rejuvenate ! - a new Creative Carers' group. Shortly after this meeting, Lisa attended Maggie's workshop on Twiddlemuffs (textile creations to help people with dementia) and a friendship began.

As Carers, they both understand that creativity in everyday life aids relaxation, reduces stress and improves wellbeing. It wasn't a case of 'if' just 'when' they would start ! With the backing and help from Josie Rogerson at The Courtyard Theatre and Arts Centre and the assistance and support from Rachel Wilkins at Herefordshire Carers' support, the seeds were set and the plan was put in place. And, oh has it been fun !

Children must be accompanied by an adult. Book early, spaces limited.

If you would like to join my FREE workshop next Saturday 6 September- 9.30 - 11.00 at Ledbury Poetry House, The Barrett Browning Institute, Homend, Ledbury HR8 2AA, please book via the Ledbury Poetry Festival website (What’s on page). Looking forward to sharing lots of ideas.

All ages welcome (children must be supervised) and all materials provided in kit form, together with instructions to take home.

Just pop in any time if 9:30 is a bit early !!!
