The shop is open today 11am to 4pm. I have a fabulous selection of contemporary and vintage artwork, some amazing pieces of furniture and lots of great decorative items available for you to browse.

There is a free carpark right next door to the shop and furry friends are welcome!

A lovely Edwardian piano stool with a rich dark finish, shaped legs and a lift-up upholstered seat revealing useful storage beneath.

The deep green fabric has a traditional, timeworn look which sits beautifully against the dark wood, while the turned side rails and curved legs give the piece a refined antique silhouette.

A very elegant Queen Anne style bureau, by A. Gardner & Son Ltd Glasgow dating to around the 1920's. Finished with a richly figured burr walnut effect and raised on graceful cabriole legs.

The fall-front opens to reveal a fitted interior, complete with various compartments, a central drawer and a leather inlaid writing area. Below, the serpentine front is fitted with drawers and ornate brass handles.

A lovely size for a hallway, living room, bedroom or study — perfect as a writing desk, occasional desk or decorative storage piece ~ £165.00

✨ Shop update ✨

So I have been having a wee mess about with the shop layout this week and decided to turn the wee back room into a mini gallery. I have added picture rails and changed the shelving about. This space will now house artwork and mirrors.

For opening this weekend I have added a collection of original artwork by Scottish artist Vic Rodrick. More details to follow.....

A handsome Edwardian (C.1900's) mahogany chest of drawers, raised on slim square legs and fitted with brass swan-neck handles.

The piece has a lovely traditional form, with three smaller drawers above two full-width drawers, giving excellent storage while retaining an elegant, lighter profile. The brass swan-neck handles and shaped backplates add a lovely traditional detail, and the drawer fronts are nicely framed with simple moulded edging ~ £145.00

A wonderfully decorative two-tier occasional table, with octagonal upper and lower tiers, slender shaped supports and hand-painted fruit decoration C.1920 / 1930's

The rich dark ground is beautifully lifted by painted pears, grapes, leaves and berries in warm autumnal tones, giving the piece a very characterful cottage interior feel. A lovely size for use as a plant stand, lamp table, hallway accent piece or simply as a decorative display table ~ £65.00
