Once upon a spoon (A Spoonful of imagination)
We are a newly established business that creates stories and songs through the power of wooden spoons!
We are a family run business, which consists of the two owners having over 20 years experience within childcare. We know what how amazing a child’s creative mind is and have used these experiences to create a hands on, open-ended way to express stories and songs in a different way. Which helps both parent and child to share interactions whilst reading and singing, touching upon colours and numbers as you play.
All our spoons are handmade and sealed with a non toxic seal. We currently have the following themes and are hoping to realise a new one each month.
-Five little speckled frogs, this comes with 5 spoons, (patterned in speckled paint) labelled with a frog and a number as well as a wooden homemade book which displays the lyrics to the song. All this is provided in our company logo drawstring bag
-Five little ducks, this comes with 5 spoons, (Patterned in bubble paint) labelled with a duck and a number as well as a wooden homemade book which displays the lyrics to the song. All this is provided in our company logo drawstring bag
-Incy Wincy Spider, this comes with 5 spoons, (Plain sealed) labelled with a spider, a water spout, rain, washing spider and a sunshine as well as a wooden homemade book which displays the lyrics to the song. All this is provided in our company logo drawstring bag
-Fish Alive, -this comes with 6 spoons, (Plain spoons) labelled with a number 1-10 on front and back, 1 spoon shaped as a net and token fish attached to it on string, as well as a wooden homemade plaque which displays the lyrics to the song. All this is provided in our company logo drawstring bag
Please be aware all spoons will slightly different in appearance due to the fact they are all handmade. We ask for a 2-week window when ordering due to handmade step by step procedure on our products.
