Last day of trading in the market on Friday. I feel quite sad to be leaving, but I am excited about having our own shop. I was painting at the new shop today and my thoughts took me back to some of the things I have been involved in during my time in the market. ....... McMillan Coffee Morning, Easter egg painting competition, Christmas grotto's, witches caves plus me dressing up as a witch, the Frozen day, Christmas Fairs, collecting food for Millstream animal shelter. All good fun and great for the charities we supported each time......I will miss getting involved with the other traders to put these events on, we were a good team.
We have made some good friends with traders and customers alike, Hopefully the customers will come with us, but sorry the traders will still have to put up with me popping in to see them!. You don't get rid of me that easy ........
It just remains for me to thank everybody for the past 6 1/2 years, for all the laughs ......and the tears,. Thanks to Davina and Maureen and now Tracy for all of their help, and a massive thank you to all our customers for their valued support. See you all soon ###x

RELOCATION

The Crafty Moggie and The Finishing Touch will cease to trade in Hyde Indoor Market on Friday 31st March.
We are combining the two businesses under the name of STITCHES and are relocating to 47 Market Street, Hyde.
Obviously this relocation will take time, but we hope to open for business on Tuesday 18th April.
We would like to thank all our customers for their support over the last six years, and hope to see you in due course at the new premises.

I have finally finished a quilt I started 3 years ago, on and off. The size is 57" x 73" and will fit a childs single bed. Each picture has been made from scratch and every piece of fabric has been sewn around the edges to prevent fraying. I couldn't begin to estimate how many hours I have put into this project + the fabric and wadding, which is why the price to purchase this has to be £150.

Hi everyone, I would like to let everyone know the Christmas closing dates for both The Crafty Moggie and The Finishing Touch.
We will finish at close of business on Friday 23rd December and re open for business on Friday January 6th at 9.15am. We have decided not to trade in between Christmas and New Year. If you are going to need any crafty bits for the festive season, please call in this week, so you are not disappointed.

Thank you to all our customers for your valued support throughout 2016, we couldn't be here for you, if you weren't there for us.

This Saturday, is the Christmas Artisan market in Hyde, if you are coming to visit this, please think about popping into the INDOOR MARKET as well.
I will have a table full of Handmade crafts for sale, alongside me there is a lady selling beautiful wreaths and floral arrangements, and we have a new stall which sells light boxes, these can be personalised and are made to order.
We are also running a tombola, with some fabulous prizes to be won, and are selling tickets for a fantastic food hamper. All proceeds from the tombola and raffle will be donated to Age UK. Lets make sure our elderly people in the area are looked after this Christmas.
OH and on top of all that we have got a FREE face painter in.

Sorry I haven't posted anything for a while...... I upgraded by computer to windows 10 and now I cant seem to download photos from my camera. Nevertheless I can still remind you all of all the lovely Christmassy items available from both me and Pete.

There are lots of lovely fabrics, I also have advent calendar panels, these make a gorgeous calendar, which you could use year after year.
I also have some new self patterning wools in from James Brett,
gorgeous colours and only £2.99 ball, this is a very good price for this type of yarn.

Pete has some beautiful ribbons and everything else you might need to make Christmas crafts, felt, toy stuffing, cat bells, safety eyes for toys and lots of colourful dress nets.

Just one more thing Coates cottons have been reduced from £1.70 to £1.00 each, these are reduced to clear and once they have gone we will not be getting anymore stock

Hopefully I will get the camera problem solved soon, for all those of you who are screaming at me, why don't you use your phone! my phone is useless and I am counting down the days before I can get out of my contract.

Don't forget The Crafty Moggie is now closed until the 24th September . Off to bed now for a 1.45am get up ! is it worth going to bed I ask myself? All worth it when the taxi picks you up and you close your front door and go to the airport to start your holiday. see you soon ###

I will be doing the Artisan market again this Saturday, with lots of my goodies, the Artisan has been a great success the last two times, and is well worth a visit. Lots of different crafts made by local people. Please come and give us your support . ###
