Having not touched the website or the social channels for a few months now (due to the day job & parenting taking priority) I was delighted to discover this months commission statement wasn’t a big fat ZERO.

Sorry it’s been a while! Work, Parenting and a never ending home DIY project hasn’t left with much free time.

That said, I couldn’t let World Mental Health Day pass without posting. So here are my daughters, the inspiration for - they might cause me stress and anxiety on a regular basis but thankfully with restrictions lifting the good times are currently outweighing the bad.💛

It’s been a while...
•
Without wanting to get too deep and meaningful straight off the bat, it’s been a pretty brutal start to the year.
•
Being the husband of a keyworker and the father of 2 young children that needed to be loved, interacted with, reassured, oh and home schooled 😧 - all whilst trying to keep bringing in money to pay the bills has been hard going.
•
Add in the frustrations I had with the clothing manufacturer and it all meant that I really haven’t had time or energy to doodle.
•
It’s crazy that the thing I started to improve my mental health actually ended up having a negative impact on it. I’m in a better place now, and hope to have a couple of new designs to show you in the coming days.
•
I heard someone say the other day “we’re not all in the same boat, but we are all in the same storm” - so if you’re finding things hard please do reach out to someone, and if a friend has dropped off the radar during lockdown give them a call and let them know you’re still there for them. Trust me they’ll appreciate it.
•
All profits are still going to Suffolk Mind. Thanks for following. Please do continue to spread the word. 💙

Happy New Year Everyone.

Sorry it’s been a little quiet of late. In all honesty I got a little overwhelmed by the day job and the self imposed pressures of Christmas as a parent (and the joy of Christmas bubbles) - I’ve also been quite anxious that 2020 has been tough for so many people that I didn’t want to continue to promote Borro & Bear products and look like I glossing over what’s going on in the world right now.

It was lovely to see the pictures of you guys rocking your Borro & Bear items over Christmas - please do keep sharing them. I’m hoping that later this year I can get a proper photoshoot done to show the products off properly.

A few updates for you as we start 2021.
• Those of you waiting for products/sizes to come back in stock, I’ve been told by the supplier they should be available from the 1st week of Feb. I’ll try and keep you updated.
• The first donation has been made to Suffolk mind. £44.25 - not as much as I’d hoped but it’s a start.
• Having realised just how much work is involved in trying to market the products I’ve made the decision to donate all profits moving forward to charity. At least that way if I have a really busy week or month at work I won’t be beating myself up for not launching new products or shouting about products online - this was always meant to be fun after all.
