And then comes the framing…

Once your name painting has arrived from Jaipur, it is framed here in England.

I help advise on the mount and frame for each piece, depending on the colours and overall feel of the painting, before it is finished and sent directly on to you.

It’s one of my favourite final stages, seeing each painting properly come together and become something ready to hang and keep for years.

Each one is made to order and completely personal.

Our name paintings are one of my favourite things we make.

Each one is painted by hand in Jaipur, with every letter filled with classic Indian miniature patterns, making each piece completely unique.

Made to order with the name of your choice, they’re designed to be something that can stay on a bedroom wall for years, long after the cot has gone!

I decided to do things a little differently this summer.

I rented out our house, packed up the girls and spent most of August in the countryside. A bit of work squeezed in here and there, but mostly camping, beaches, grandparents and time together.

Very aware that we were lucky to be able to have a summer like this, and that next year might look completely different.

Feeling very grateful for this one !
