Well Kettering, you did it again: you donated, you came and boy did you shop!

In just 3 hours today we raised £772 - every single penny of which goes directly to the wonderful Johnnys Happy Place.
We are very grateful to you all.

We at Happy Chic loosely refer to ourselves as 'the Happy Chic girls' but strictly speaking this is untrue, for two reasons:

1. We are all WELL into our forties (in fact most of us are 50 plus)

2. We are ALWAYS ably abetted by the volunteers at Johnnys Happy Place in general, and two young men in particular.

Ady and Matt really are the unsung heroes of this team - they are always on hand to shift furniture, load/unload the van and erect/disassemble the clothes rails. The sound of a dozen knees/hips/backs audibly creaking would be positively deafening if we had to do all the heavy lifting ourselves 😆

We are so grateful for all the help we receive from these two amazing gents. Thank you, fellas! 😃🩷

And we're done! An enormous thank you to everyone who came through the doors today.
We were particularly delighted to see so many new faces as well our regulars - and we loved that we cleared all our stock of vintage prom dresses!
Fashionable and sustainable - it was lovely to be able to say congratulations to FOUR of our brand new Green Councillors- thank you for your support!
But now, the important bit, we've just poured a large glass of wine and have transferred a stonking £761 direct to Johnnys Happy Place
Our next sale will be in September - please drop us a message if you've had a clear out and would like to donate any good quality unwanted clothes, shoes or bags. Our sales are only successful because you donate us such lovely things.
