EverywhereTales

EverywhereTales Children's clothing that combines storytelling and play There are hidden pockets which open to become storyboards with hand-held felt characters.

Everywhere Tales is a new range of quality children's clothing which combines play and storytelling in a unique and interactive way. Children love stories – from nursery rhymes and fairy tales to ghost stories, legends and fables; the whole world opens up to children through the stories they are told from an early age. At a first glance, the Everywhere Tales range seems to be a collection of simpl

e denim bibbed-dresses and functional dungarees: but on closer inspection, they transform into wearable stories that open out on a child's lap. First and foremost the clothes are made from durable, good quality 100% cotton, and can be worn as usual – but they have something extra. Children (or parents) use these to bring the stories to life. The clothes have been designed in London, are manufactured in Portugal and are available in the following sizes: aged 2 – 3, 4 – 5, 6 – 7. Story panels are fixed to the clothes with velcro and are easily changeable. Story panels fit all clothing sizes.

This is the quiet disaster of our age. Fight it hard if your local library faces closure. Once it's gone, it's gone and all the staff expertise with it.

The number of paid staff working in UK libraries has fallen by almost 8,000 since 2010, as the number of volunteers has soared, a BBC investigation finds.

Did the photoshoot for our new story aprons last week. The adorable child models – both children of friends – didn't take much persuading and enjoyed telling stories with the aprons. Little Red Riding Hood and The Three Little Pigs were favourites this time. Just waiting for the touch ups and we'll have the pics and products on our website.

It's not just children missing out on life, play and conversation. Love Eric Pickersgill's gallery of photo art exploring the impact of our addiction to devices. His series is aptly called 'Removed'. http://www.ericpickersgill.com/Removed
