The weather looks good for tomorrow so come along to the Leamington Ecofest in the Pumproom Gardens!
Lots of fab stalls, absolutely brilliant talks and great activities. I'll be there with my sewing drop-in where you can learn some basic stitches if you're keen to repair some of your own things. You can come and chat about ways to make your wardrobe more eco friendly or just to get some great sewing tips.
I always meet the loveliest people at Ecofest, with so many fabulous sewing stories! Sit down and relax with a needle and thread and enjoy the therapy that comes with it

Over the past couple of months I've had the pleasure of teaching some lovely ladies from Esther Project how to sew and improve their skills.
Friday mornings have been filled with chatter and learning and its been a delight to get to know these amazing women!
We've covered all sorts from basic handstitching to working a machine, from understanding fabrics to how to create useful items. We're almost at the end of the course but I hope that some of the ladies will keep on sewing! Its been great to watch their confidence grow ❤️

A few pics from Community Outreach/ SEND tent at the Art in The Park Festival. It was hot, it was busy and it was amazing. Loved seeing everyone and helping you to find your lanterns. We also had fun writing wishes on the fairy door 🧚‍♀️
I managed to skip over to the Glasshouse to watch my grandkids in their mini theatre production,what a bonus! Lots of people took advantage of our quiet space too ,a hidden gem ❤️
Another fantastic festival done ,well done .livingstonuk and the awesome team.

Art in the Park goes to Stratford Pursuits! We had a fantastic Sunday at the Pursuits Festival making and creating for our community outreach project.
There's something so satisfying about taking time out ,sitting down with crafts and letting your imagination run wild!
This is the beginning of our engagement with schools, community groups,charities and craft clubs . By the end of July we have hundreds of lovely creations for decorating Jephson Gardens at the Leamington Art in The Park Festival

A fun day yesterday,lots of laughs! Helping a good friend's daughter with her coursework constructing a corset , and later on creating bingo cards for the home ed group with my daughter. I'm looking forward to playing this game later with the young uns, should be great fun! Took hours to create and lots of giggling and cups of tea, but we were up for the challenge 😁

Those few odd hours of blue sky and sunshine in the last couple of days have just been extra wonderful. You certainly appreciate it more when its been so lacking! I've always loved the shape of bare branches against the blue, so strikingly beautiful. The aim was to clear the raised beds for planting but everywhere was so muddy it was a bit of a mission. The cats enjoyed a bit of winter sunbathing though!

Little sewing hands and their creative valentines cards ! It doesn't matter if there aren't many stitches at these early stages. Repetition strengthens memory and these youngsters know their running stitch from their back stitch as well as recognising several others.
