LEEDS PRINT WORKSHOP - LS9 7EH

A cooperative printmaking studio. Drop in to have a look at the printmaking facilities, chat to the tutors and technicians, and even have a go at some printmaking techniques yourself. Everyone is welcome, no experience needed, a great opportunity to find out about memberships and the range of public courses on offer.

Join Leeds Print Workshop for screen and letter press printing over the weekend whilst you explore all that Mabgate has to offer

THE ATTIC - LS10 1HD (Saturday only)

A community-focused creative space and venue in Leeds, with artist studios.

Open studios include:

Laura Creer
Hannah Burgess Ceramics
Lizzie Farrell

Drop in for free keyring making with Sew Sweet Pea, or browse a pop-up sale from Lucky Pea.

Pop up vinyl record sale in the cafe on the day with Duck Walk Records

So much to see in just one day! The Attic also has a place to eat and drink to refuel for your trail around the city centre venues

We’re going to be highlighting the 9 amazing venues taking part in Leeds Open Studios this year, continuing with:

MABGATE ART STUDIOS - UCL - LS9 7EA
UCLeedsCreatives

Home to the college’s Creative Arts department, including the RE Workshop - a fully equipped space with screen printing facilities alongside joinery and upcycling projects

UCL will have a range of work and artist spaces to explore, as well as an exhibition of work on display

ASSEMBLY HOUSE - LS12 2PL

Open 10:30-4:30pm Saturday and Sunday
Assembly House is converted Victorian textile mill beside the Leeds–Liverpool Canal, home to around 80 resident creatives working across painting, sculpture, performance and more

Visit the studio space, view the exhibitions and find out what the amazing space is all about!

We’re going to be highlighting the 9 amazing venues taking part in Leeds Open Studios this year, starting with:

FABRICATION 2 - LS2 7NT
This studio space is where Leeds Open Studios started, with jewellery and ceramic artist Amy Stringer

10-4pm Saturday and Sunday you can visit Fabrication, have a wonder around the incredible space and take part in drop in Kurinuki carving and Chapbook binding workshops

Artist on site will be:
Amy Stringer (LOS founder)
Anachronalia (Bookbinder)
doctor geof (illustrator)

ARTIST CALL OUT!

Here at Leeds Open Studios I am delighted to offer this amazing new opportunity to all Leeds based artists, in any medium, to submit work to be exhibited in the stunning Howard Assembly Room Atrium

Along with we have joined together to bring this free opportunity to Leeds, to celebrate the incredible artists we have in the city and showcase a diverse selection of work to a large audience

Its a tight deadline to kick this off on Open Studios weekend 12th-13th September so only submit work you already have made, but I cannot wait to see what you send in!
