Perfect for crocheters looking for an easy project! Contains all you need to make a bright and cheerful granny square throw/blanket!

* Please note - this kit does not teach you how to crochet and is suitable for crocheters who are already able to chain and do the basic treble and double crochet stitches.

The kit contains:

- Crochet Pattern (in UK terminology)

- size 5mm hook

- 10 x 50g balls of aran cotton in rainbow colours.

I’m so pleased with how fresh and pretty this one’s turned out …
I don’t choose the colours before I start making these throws - I just start with a few nice ones and see where they take me! 🥰
And you can never go wrong with a cream border can you? 🧶

I’m completing this one with a calm, neutral border to contain the circus of colours! 🎪
I’ll be doing a final round of ‘granny’ in this cream and then I’ll continue with the same yarn for a final edging of half trebles … 🧶
I like to keep my borders simple when I’ve got so much going on with the colours and textures! 🫠

These multi yarn granny squares are my fave ♥️
Mixing up your colours and textures and even yarn weights can give a more eclectic vibe to your project 🧶
I’ve shown in this vid how you can use 2 strands of yarn together if they are too fine (thank you to for giving me the tip of using both ends of the same skein - soo much easier than 2 balls rolling around 😂)
Keep with the sane size hook and adjust your tension as necessary … experiment and enjoy! 🌟

Really pleased with this granny square throw - it’s the most vibrant one I’ve done in a while and I think the rich purple border finishes it off just nicely 👌
I’ve used quite a bit of cotton yarn this time … it gives strength to both the colours and the structure which was what I was after for this bolder project 💪
Combined with wool and acrylic - mostly DK and aran weights - with a size 5mm hook. Using different textures and thicknesses means that you might need to adjust your tension, but you do get a more interesting result 🥰
