The children’s workshops this summer have been a huge hit so I thought I’d add one in next week.
On Thursday 20th August Make Your Mark 3-5pm I will be running a fabric strawberries workshop. This is suitable for age +7 years and beginners are welcome ❤️

On tuesday 1st September I will be running another teen workshop making heart shaped bags. This class is suited for children age +8 years with sewing machine experience required.

Here is Septembers one to one availability. I will only be working half of September as I will be hopefully getting ready for a kidney transplant on the 21st September. I will be off for quite a few months afterwards.
All one to ones run from Orrell park and are £27 a session. I also have some August availability still left too. ❤️❤️

Another gorgeous afternoon teaching Make Your Mark 🎀
It was a hot class and I think I may have melted whilst teaching, but the girls all did amazing. They all completed a stuffed bow each and even had time to practise their sewing and make other little projects too.
All the girls were a dream to teach and it was lovely to have so many manners in one room❤️❤️
I’m thinking of adding another class Thursday next week 3-5pm instead if anyone would be interested??

This week I got some amazing news.. news that I have been waiting to hear for over 9 months.
A date for a kidney transplant !! 😁☺️😊🥳🤗
I’ve been keeping it all quiet for months with the fear of things going wrong and it not going ahead, but we are so close it’s actually starting to sound real. We have a penciled in date for the 21st September with just the legal appointment to do to confirm I haven’t forced my lovely living donor into donating a kidney!
I’ve decided to still keep quiet on who my living donor is until it’s fully confirmed and set in stone. I’m scared stiff of jinxing everything.
I had so many of my amazing family and friends put themselves forward to donate and I’ll be forever thankful for their kindness. ❤️
It’s a mixture of feelings. Mainly extremely thankful, nervous and so ready to hopefully feel healthier than I currently do. I will be off work for a few months to recover and will be finishing work mid September to prepare .. please don’t forget me and stick around for when I come back to teaching. Thank you to everyone who’s been there to support me throughout my kidney failure journey. ❤️

The lovely Ebony came for her first one to one session last weekend and made this gorgeous cushion! 🥰 She was an absolute joy to teach and picked up everything so quickly. Massive well done! ❤️

Another lovely session Halle OBrien where the girls continued sewing up their fabric bags! They have done absolutely amazing and picked up the sewing machine so quickly. Can’t wait to see them completed next session. 🩷🌷
