It's been a long time since I last posted on here but I feel things are looking up now. The Lino cuts I started last year have been added to and I've just been testing them out.

Just back from a relaxing weekend with Nestor and cracking on with Jen's March Hare. Nearly there but now tired with too much staring at the computer so I won't be able to finish and sew it out until Wednesday now. Big day tomorrow as Colin should be coming home.

Things have been very difficult over the past ten months or so but I'm now getting back on track. Beginning to feel creative again and feeling very privileged to be working on a couple of beautiful designs by My Paper Cut Heart. I'm turning them into embroideries and who knows what they will be made into after that! To find out, you will have to look at Jen's page but I do know that they will be magical.

I've not been doing much craft stuff of late as I've been too busy enjoying this lovely weather. Yesterday I did collect some flowers and leaves, laid them on fabric and then wrapped them into a tight bundle and cooked them. This is the front and back view of the bundle after cooking. I'll unwrap it later and see what I've got - watch this space.

Had a great weekend with an old friend. Did very little except walk with the dog, chatter and a spot of natural dyeing. Even the sun shone down on us. Yarn now all washed, dried and made into balls ready for my next project. Can life get any better?
