Create nature inspired Fashion CAD’s with me! 🌿

During my time at Fairbairn & Wolf Studio, I had the greatest opportunity to expand my creative skills and knowledge as a designer, and a huge part of this was being encouraged to find pattern inspirations within the natural landscapes of my home in Mid Wales! 🌞

Continuing to embrace this thematic vision, this week I ventured into to study the Castles historic architecture and beautiful collection of botanicals, creating a range of textural abstract and cyanotype inspired prints! 🌱

Over the past 12 weeks I have had the pleasure of interning at as a Fashion CAD Designer, and I can’t believe how fast it has flown by! 🤍

Being given the opportunity to develop my own range of original print designs and collaborate alongside other wonderful designers has been the most inspiring, creative and educational experience

It’s been so wonderful to continue developing my skills and knowledge as a graduate designer entering the industry, and I’m so excited to finally share some of the work I have been creating over the last 3 months! 🙌🏻

A wonderful Sunday spent hosting my Botanical Paper-Making Workshop at The Hanging Gardens. A Wilderness Trust Project 🌿

It was lovely to meet so many new faces and create a range of handmade paper using up-cycled paper & botanical waste! 🌱

On Sunday the 4th & 11th of December I will be teaming up with The Hanging Gardens. A Wilderness Trust Project to host a FREE 2-day workshop focusing on the beauty of botanical paper making🌿

Bringing both creativity and sustainability together to allow you to develop new invaluable skills…you will have the opportunity to use paper & botanical waste from The Hanging Gardens Cafe and your own homes to create beautifully conscious gifts! 🪴

All you will need to bring with you is any paper and botanical waste you have in your homes so that we can all collectively help to reduce waste whilst creating meaningful, up-cycled gifts ♻️

The first day of the workshop will focus solely on creating the botanical paper 🌱 and the second day of the workshop will allow you the opportunity to create conscious gift designs using the very paper you have made! 🍃
