Built to go with the climbing trousers, using the same shower proof waxed cotton woven at a Scottish mill that’s kept people dry on hillsides for generations. Same hardwearing, everyday feel you already know.
We went down a bit of a rabbit hole designing this one, spending time in mid-century military field jackets and old British shooting coats built for people who needed their hands free. That’s what led us to our own chore jacket: a shape that first appeared in 19th-century France, built for labourers who needed something practical enough to survive a full day’s work.
Two outside pockets, angled so your hand finds its way in with ease. Chest pockets hidden inside for your phone and cards. Concealed poppers behind a clean placket to keep the wind out, and a stand-up collar for when it really turns. Cropped shorter than a traditional chore jacket so it meets the trousers at the waist.
Wear it over a base layer, under something heavier when it’s cold, or on its own with the trousers it was built for.
