👟♻️Nike x Stussy Air Max 2015 ♻️👟

Another x collaboration.🤝
Another Fossil colourway.🦴
Another absolutely 🔥vegan-friendly trainer.

Following on from the h**p-effect Air Force 1 Mid in the same colour, this spiritual successor to the 2020 Spiridon collab (also pictured so you can see what I mean) and take on the slightly forgettable Air Max 2015 features a matted-out air unit, h**p effect upper and Stussy branding on the tongue and next to the laces to give the model a rejuvenated look for 2022.

No release date has been announced yet but no doubt these will be exceptionally sought after so a raffle W might be the only way to pick them up.🤞🏻

♻️👟 adidas Adilette 22 👟♻️

Summer has finally arrived in the UK and so has ’ controversial new (and slightly familiar 👀) take on their iconic Adilette slide.🛝

These 3D print inspired slides not only look great but they’re very much vegan-friendly, as they’re made of primarily EVA foam containing 17% plant-based content derived from sugarcane.🍭

Colourways drop in 3 waves across the summer months (starting June 23), so make sure you head over to adidas’ website to get a reminder of when your favourite style drops.🗓

♻️👟 Nike Pegasus Trail 4 👟♻️

After a long weekend spent in a field camping and walking across the beaches of Suffolk, it felt timely to discuss the newly released, all-weather, all-terrain Pegasus Trail 4.🏕

Unofficially the 3rd proper Pegasus Trail shoe if you don’t count the Peg 36 Trail, these reworked and slightly lighter iteration of the previous models are made up of fully synthetic materials so are vegan-friendly by default.🌱

Personally I think design-wise these are a bit of a step back but improving on the Trail 2 and 3 was always going to be a tough ask. However, if you’re looking to pick up a versatile trainer suitable for off-road running or walking these are a very solid option.✌🏻

If anyone was wondering what you get if you cross a Flyknit Racer and Air Max Pre-Day, we have the answer.🟰

As a huge Flyknit fanboy (especially Racers) this release is shaping to be my most anticipated hybrid drop from Nike in a long, long time and, best of all, it looks as though they’ve kept all materials entirely synthetic.☑️

👟♻️ Air Jordan 4 ‘Blank Canvas’ ♻️👟

are notoriously one of the trickier brands when it comes to seeking out vegan-friendly options, especially when it comes to their primarily leather and suede-clad retro models.❌

Fortunately, if you’re a female sneakerhead then these upcoming Off White-esque Canvas 4 models are reportedly due to drop later this month on Nike.com (and via raffle through other retailers) and they’re made completely of cruelty free materials.🐰🐇

Reports of a similar Black Canvas release in mens sizes later in the year are still unconfirmed, but here’s hoping.🤞🏻

👟♻️ Nike Air Max 97 By You ♻️👟

The Air Max range has proved to be a real minefield to navigate since I became vegan due to the majority of hyped models featuring suede of leather in some capacity.🐄

While I eagerly await some of the OG models to get given an ethical makeover (Infrared 90s, please!) here’s an attempt I made at replicating another retro favourite of mine, the famous Silver Bullet 97s using primarily recycled fabric options provided by the By You custom shoe editor.✌🏻

👟♻️ AllBirds Tree Flyer ♻️👟

I’m still yet to (figuratively) pull the trigger on a pair of but their newly released Tree Flyers are a seriously tempting proposition.🦜🌳

Featuring a more angular/edgy silhouette than their other running models (Anyone else picking up NMD vibes?👀), this lightweight model also features a higher heel drop, making it a great option for longer runs - And, it goes without saying that it’s made with all of the eco-friendly materials that have earned the brand such a positive reputation for their conscious approach to footwear production.🌱♻️

With so many Yeezy colourways dropping over the last few days, including 3 new varieties of the Slide and Fade Carbon variation of the 700 v3, I thought there was no better time to dissect this range of re-sellers favourites from an ethical perspective and list out which are and aren’t vegan-friendly;

👟♻️ Stussy x Nike Air Force 1 Mid ♻️👟

If, like me, you missed out on the chance to pick up and ’s previous vegan-friendly Air Force range, topped with H**p uppers then, bad news, today’s newly released Mid version didn’t take long to go out of stock.💸

Interestingly the h**p model sold out way quicker than either of the other 2 models in the range. Possibly because they’re a better looking shoe, or because sneakerheads are becoming more mindful of the materials that they’re putting on their feet. I’m going to hope/assume it’s the latter.🤞

👟♻️ Stepney Workers Club S-Strike and Dellow ♻️👟

My first slip-up as a mindful sneakerhead involved these primarily (but not totally) synthetic S-Strikes from .😣

Tempted in by the high-walled Converse Chuck 70s style midsole combined with Vans Old Skool-eque upper, I failed to read the small print mentioning the leather ’S’ motif on the side of the shoe but owned my mistakes and learned to research more thoroughly in future.👨‍🏫

With that being said, these are a fantastic quality shoe and SWC do produce a large number of leather-free models such as the Dellow Canvas in the second slide that have been my go-to casual summer shoe for the past 2 summers now, so I’m sure these models won’t be my last purchases from them.💸

👟♻️ Nike Pegasus Turbo Next Nature ♻️👟

Another highly anticipated sustainable and vegan-friendly release of 2022 sees the return of the Pegasus Turbo, this time in the form of the ‘Next Nature’ edition, made of at least 50% recycled materials, which follows the well received release of the Alphafly model of the same name.🏃💨

The lack of sustainability in the Running Shoe world has been a talking point amongst the sustainability community for some time, so it’s great to see models such as this finally begin to address the need for more recycled materials to be used in shoes that don’t often last for much longer than a year or so for regular runners and end up in landfill.🗑

With no release date confirmed and my intrigue around trying out the Pegasus Turbo range continuing to grow, I’ve opted to buy second hand for the time being. Pictures to follow!🔜
