It’s been two years and I still haven’t mastered having the kids at home/spending time on my business đŸ«

But it was a great hot Summer and we had fun together.

Now they are back to school and my daughter has gone into year 6! WTF!

No excuses now đŸ’ȘđŸŒ. Let’s see if I do better October half term.

I did sneak in a couple of M***a related events over the past 6 weeks. Here are some highlights

I was so honoured when Charlie Barker ✹ invited me on her ‘Dear Mum’ podcast. We talk all things motherhood and finding yourself again. Loved it!

Took the kids to House of Dreamers. Highly recommend. Huge ball pit, inspiring rooms and great photo opportunities.

Our yearly trip to Cornwall— one of our fav places to visit. Summer Rae and I tried to get a sunset selfie with Enzo 😂

I have a 10 year old. Time really does fly so quickly. I look at old photos and her being a toddler feels like yesterday.

When I was pregnant, the skincare on offer did not look this good! I went to a MAYAH talk last night with a great panel of mums. We really are just as lost as each other when we are thrown into motherhood.

It’s breast feeding awareness month so I thought i’d share my experience.

I have two children with very different nursing journeys. Loved and enjoyed feeding my first Summer Rae who eventually (with the help of a cover) latched on easily and was a breeze.

My second baby Dylan wasn’t even close. I felt bad when I made the decision to stop, but had a supportive husband who could see the knock on effect it was having on everything else.

If it works for you then fabulous! However, if it doesn’t for whatever reason then that is fine too. Your mental and physical health comes first.

How were your journeys? Any thoughts you would like to share?

Just like maternity underwear, buying clothes for what we think is only 9 months feels like a waste of money. In all honesty, you will wear these way past the bump is gone, so go for bits you can wear afterwards too.

Full transparency, I worked from home in my second pregnancy and lived in my husbands boxers and T-shirts 😂. You can do so much better.

I did the leg work to find some gorgeous pieces that will compliment your bump, and still look good as you recover and discover your 2.0 self.

1. LOVE this chic dress from Our Journy | Slow Fashion | Womenswear | maternity + bf friendly.
Breastfeeding friendly, and made from cotton.

2. Obsessed with Nobody's Child at the moment. Their sale is on so can buy some bargains. This top would be breastfeeding friendly and the shorts will sit softly under a bump.

3. Nice flowy maxi dress. With some statement earrings this could be dressed up should you have to go somewhere fancy. From H&M.

4. Another gorge Maxi from H&M. This one is backless— nice and fresh in this đŸ”„.

5. Obvs have to throw some of our underwear in the edit. No nursing clips, just focused on YOU feeling good in your changing body. Oh and it can stretch and recover, just like your clever body.

What are you living in right now?

Baby Shower Gifting. Gifts for the baby, or treats for the mum to be? Personally, we are all about looking after the woman whose body is literally growing a human. Or maybe a little something for both of them.

Here are our little unconventional ideas which will have everyone saying “OMG what a good idea”.

1. She is either making do, or quietly (or not) suffering in un comfy underwear. Our underwear will fit at every stage and while she recovers.

2. The last person she’ll be thinking about feeding is herself. With some prepared meals the family can just enjoy the moment and not worry about what’s for dinner.

3. A pick me up face mask. Even just 5mins of looking after herself will feel good.

4. We could all do with a mummy MOT after bearing children. It doesn’t all recover naturally and a specialist in this area can make sure she recovers well.

Anything else you can think?

Be sure to share with whoever’s organising your baby shower!

It’s đŸ”„đŸ”„đŸ”„. Too hot to be creative. Here are the straight up reasons why we are different;

1. EVERYTHING comes down to making YOU feel good where your body is right now, not what you need when the baby comes.

2. In for the long hall. We know from experience and the many surveys that you’ll live in your maternity underwear way past the bump. We made ours with stretch and recover performance vibes 💅

3. Beige underwear when you feel like rubbish? Not here, pops of colour to help you feel good.

4. We left off all the ugly bits. Wear the backless dress that keeps you cool and still be able to keep your b***s in check.

5. You shouldn’t have to wait in for anybody— our parcels can be posted.

Double tap if this is just what you need ❀

We got you 💋
