Peachies

Peachies This is not your normal nappy. We’re on a mission to change the world, one poo at a time.

We asked new mums how they really felt, because no one else did.

Four pregnancies. Four completely different journeys. 🤍

From hitting 37 weeks stretch-mark free and then suddenly… surprise. To carrying Phoebe when her second was only 5 months old, feeling like she’d been pregnant for two years straight.

And now, 7 weeks postpartum and already further along than she ever was after her previous 3.

What Carli learned? Recovery isn’t easier or harder each time — it fully depends on the pregnancy. But the one thing that moves the needle every single time? Mindset. 💭

Nobody tells you how to visit a newborn. We’re telling you.

There’s an art to the newborn visit.
It involves snacks you don’t eat yourself, opinions you keep to yourself, and knowing when to leave.

Consider this your crash course 👀

BTS of a newborn shoot - where the entire day revolves around nap times 😴

We work around their schedule, not ours. When they sleep, we shoot. When they don’t… we wait, we shush, and we wait some more. Worth every second. 🤍🍑

Pre-baby it was questionable. Now it’s part of the woodwork.

The chair, a monument to everything you meant to put away but didn’t, couldn’t, forgot about entirely.

There’s laundry in the washer. Has been since yesterday. You’ll run it again.

Nobody warned you about the sheets. The blood, the sweat, the tears - literal ones - soaked into everything you own.

The baby is fine. How are you?

Somewhere between the pump parts and the cold toast, you’re keeping everyone alive.

The bottles. The sterilising. The takeaway receipt that’s been on the counter for three days. The coffee you made and forgot about. Twice.

Nobody tells you that feeding them means barely feeding yourself.

The baby is fine. How are you?

She used to have a skincare routine. Four steps. Time. Who is she?

Now it’s peri bottles, sprays, pills. Bloody pads that never made it into the bin. It feels like a crime scene.

Baby’s here.

The messages flood in. The visitors knock. Everyone wants to know how the baby is sleeping, feeding, doing.

But we see you.

The blood, the sweat, the tears and everything else they left out of parenting prep class.

Leaking, sitting on a frozen pad in your disposable knickers or changing gauze.
The stitches — across your gut or down below.
The exhaustion.
The ni***es.
The mixing formula. The cleaning bottles.
The skin to skin that also means you, topless, eating toast over a sleeping baby at 11am on a Tuesday.

You’re running on lukewarm coffee and a brain that has been permanently rewired.

You’re stretched thin. Your heart is full. You think about every mother that came before you — and you see them more clearly now. It is, without question, the most extraordinary thing you have ever done. And you’re still doing it — right now, with everything you have.

Peachies has always been built for parenthood, unfiltered. Now from Day 00 - the day that changes everything.
