I have never introduced myself and in this moment I had this insight that I needed to do it today, on the International Women Day. 🌼
My name is Ana, and I am a Brazilian living in London. I graduated in Communications and Fashion Design back in Brazil.
I am a shy person, and it is super hard for me to write at this very moment, but I have this feeling telling me to not mute myself.
I am particularly passionate about sustainability and knowing all about other cultures. My biggest dream is to travel around the world and talk to other women, to understand how they see the world, so I can have different points of view about it.
In my teens, I was always reading something about traveling or environment, and always had a National Geographic on my hands. One day, my mind got blown when I saw an image of Bonobos in a magazine and it made my heart pump harder.
Bonobos live in peaceful, matriarchal communities. When they get stressed, bonobos tend to go for hugs rather than the jugular. They are particularly known by the natural solidarity that the females have with each other, and how this gives them power.
I had an epiphany! It was about 7 years ago, and in that moment I knew that one day I would put what I believe out to the world.
Then, comes 2020 and I started giving life to my ideas on this platform.
Even being in my baby steps with Bonoba, I am so happy when some of you GIRLS come to talk to me from India, UK, Brazil, Italy and other places. In those moments, I am not just a lonely girl sewing in my tight room anymore.
I know that there’s a lot of Bonobas spread all around the world, and I am opened to talk to you, to share our ideas and to work it out together! 💥
