Quick story about this dress… The delivery date was two weeks away and I was just about to start working on it. When it was time to get the client’s measurements, I couldn’t find the book I wrote everything in. I began to PANIC! What will I tell her? How do you even say such a thing? She traveled all the way just to get her measurements taken! Ha! I looked everywhere, no sight of it.
I eventually found it lying there in a storage box meant for drinks!
At this point I bet you’re thinking ‘how did it get there?’ Well I must have hid it from my little one who at the time thought paper tasted so good!

Oldie but goodie! Hey Instafam! Been a minute, hope we are all good! Very short story for you guys, I was thinking about my one and only trainers this evening and how they have served me so well then I realised I have been wearing them for at least 200 days out of 365 days in the past 3 years I’ve had them for and they are still solid. (They need a little TLC though 🙈 but still solid). No dents or visible wears on the soles, always comfortable and reliable. This got me thinking; as a service provider or in this case a product creator you can’t afford to compromise on quality because you don’t know which of your product buyers intend to use it everyday of the year or at least 300 out of 365 days in a year. That’s a lot of usage and the product better be ready to stand that test! Note to self 😊. Have a fantastic weekend all! 💕💕💕

I remember the week the idea for this cropped Jacket came to mind. I was thinking of how I’d make the time to make more of it when I saw how the first piece was coming along.

A few days later I had the honour of hosting the amazing for the week she saw the Jacket in progress on my mannequin and said it looked really nice.

This boosted my motivation to complete the Jacket and I thought hey! ‘how can you have a super model in your house and you won’t seize the opportunity’?

Ah! That night I asked her if she was okay to wear a couple of the Jacket pieces so we could take some pictures, she was super excited to do this with me especially after a long break from being in front of the camera.

The following day, I got to work and put together a mini collection in a few days.

For me this was a case of ‘When Opportunity nets preparation, Greatness is born, Success is inevitable!

I’ve learned to celebrate the small wins in preparation for the huge ones. May we Always be inspired to celebrate our successes and wins no matter how small.
