There is always that moment when you ask yourself, “What will people say”
Especially when you are stepping into something new.

I heard a quote recently that stayed with me:

“You are under no obligation to be the same person you were yesterday.”

As we are growing and evolving as a brand, this reminder has stayed close.
And now that Soothe With Saintsville CIC is formally established as a womens wellbeing organisation creating restorative spaces for women to rest, reconnect and grow, the message feels even more true.

Saintsville still exists and we still create our handcrafted headbands, but our evolution into wellness has opened a new chapter that feels deeply aligned.

And this photo, with its steady face and quiet resolve, captures the courage it takes to evolve even when others may not fully understand the transition yet.

Growth is allowed.
Change is allowed.
Becoming is allowed.

You are under no obligation to stay the same.

You don’t have to hold everything together here.
Soften. Return. Just be.
If this speaks to you, we’ll be waiting.

“It’s the little things.”
That was the phrase that came to mind as I listened recently, to the Science of Wellbeing course developed by Yale University.

What struck me most is how much of our happiness is also about small, intentional habits we practise consistently. Tracking things like:

Gratitude
Happiness
Sleep

The science is clear: if you want to increase your happiness and wellbeing over time, you have to do the things that support it. Not once, but intentionally and repeatedly.

It reminded me that wellbeing isn’t accidental.
It’s built gently, quietly and through the little things we choose every day.

Confidence has a few definitions, but here’s what it’s been teaching me lately:
It’s showing up, even when life is full.
It’s having the chutzpah to move anyway, despite real or imagined opinions.
What does confidence mean to you?

During a past season of hair breakage, it was a simple headband that became my quiet armour. That’s the beauty of personal style: it’s often the smallest choices that carry the most power.

Whether it’s a scarf in a colour that speaks to you, a pair of earrings with sentimental value, or a watch that helps you feel composed; these little touches lift our confidence and well‑being.

It’s not about complexity; it’s about those small, intentional choices that help us show up as our authentic selves. These touches enhance your look, just enough to help you walk into a room with a calm, quiet confidence.

What’s one small choice that helps you step into a room with presence?

Sometimes the simplest answers carry the most meaning.

For today’s Gratitude Series, we asked Funmi what she’s grateful for.

Her answer was beautifully simple — a sound mind.

Often, the things we’re most thankful for are the ones we forget to pause and appreciate.

Gratitude shifts our thoughts towards the good and gently lifts our wellbeing.

What are you grateful for today?

Some women carry a lot, and they carry it quietly.

They show up for work, for family, for the people who depend on them often without stopping to catch their breath.

Soothe With Saintsville was created as a gentle pause in the middle of all that. A half-day gathering where women can step away from the busyness of life, take a moment for themselves, and leave feeling steadier.

We’re really pleased to have Shaneen joining us as part of the day.

If this speaks to you, we’d love to have you with us.

Soothe with Saintsville was born from my own difficult seasons — the ones that made me slow down and notice what genuinely lifts my spirit.

Movement. Creativity. Connection. Stillness. Joy.

A few weeks later, at a women’s event hosted by the Federation of Small Businesses, a health coach shared wellbeing insights that echoed everything I’d been leaning into. And when I later looked at the NHS 5 Ways to Wellbeing, I realised the same themes were there too. I don’t always need validation, but this alignment felt like a gentle confirmation that I was creating something meaningful.

This didn’t come from theory or professional insight. It came from life. From what I’ve lived, learned, and needed myself.

No performing. No proving. Just a soft place to land.

If this speaks to you, I’d love to welcome you in.

It was a Saturday well spent at the Gist with Mrs Fabolous — an event convened with so much intention, where we talked about the real matters that shape the lives of married women. The theme was bright and bold colours, and the room reflected exactly that: vibrant colours, laughter, good food, shared knowledge, and heartfelt connection.

And the icing on the cake? She graciously allowed me to share about Soothe with Saintsville, a moment I deeply appreciate.

Grateful for community, conversation, and spaces where women can exhale and be poured into. Here’s to more gatherings that nourish the soul.
