Upcycled Creatively (Naomi Jane Creatively)
I am Mummy to 3 boys and 1 baby girl and love creating, especially upcycling! Why discard things when they can be given a chance to 'bloom' again by being made into something new?! I design, make and sell upcycled accessories and children's clothes using pre-loved, remnant or vintage fabrics. I do this because I love making things (especially making new
from old) and also so I can help out with the family income. I also have a blog with ideas and tutorials for simple upcycling ideas. I'd love for you to pop by :-)
My best sellers at the moment are my rose brooches and mittens - both handmade by me using wool jumpers. We've all accidentally shrunk a jumper at some point or found a, once loved, jumper full of holes! I take those poor damaged jumpers and wash, snip and stitch them into new beauties to be enjoyed once more...and I love seeing the process and transformation. I source my fabrics from vintage traders and the TRAID fabric/clothes recycling warehouse.
