Men in pyjamas. It’s a contentious topic and often the hardest debate we have in the studio and amongst friends.

The reality is, not many men wear pyjamas to sleep but many men love to sleep, nap, or generally be horizontal.
And to that we say, why not elevate the experience rather than taking a break in sweats or worst of all… jeans?

Father’s Day is this Sunday and with it we’re popping in a free puzzle and pair of socks with any mens set. For all dads, granddads, uncles, neighbours that mow your lawn or men who need a nap.

Maybe stripes are the cure to a stressed mind. We’ve always tried to embrace the unconventional stripe when designing prints however, these inspired stripy rooms have proven that the classic can always be made interesting.

This one’s all about a fungi affair.

It wasn’t until Mexico that found herself drawn into a world shaped by plant wisdom, ritual and the natural world. Between long swims in the sea, her love for cinema and lots of dancing, she built in 2021 — a platform exploring psychedelics for mental health, wellbeing practices and the culture woven around them.

What started in Mexico City as a search for more accessible conversations around psychedelic education soon sprouted into a whole ecosystem of podcasts, events, artist collaborations and, most recently, infused with Kanna — a heart-opening plant that leaves you feeling lighter, more present and gently lifted.

We sat down for an afternoon chat on her couch in London and talked about her love of mushrooms in all their forms, her ‘morning pages’ ritual and most importantly, the happy abundance found somewhere between discipline, chaos and curiosity.

This Sunday marks Mother’s Day for a majority across the Globe. In the D&D studio, many of us will be dialling internationally to say happy Mother’s Day to their mums, moms, grandmothers and maternal figures.
We rush about our busy lives, ignoring the guilt we feel for the distance or separating our grandmothers to their grandchildren but what we miss the most is the feeling of home. Of swinging by unannounced or the smell of their laundry (why does your own never smell the same!?) or grabbing a casual lunch. So whilst of course we’ll still take a moment to pause on Sunday and send our love, let it be known the mundanity of motherhood is what makes it magical.
