A Bundle of Sticks

A Bundle of Sticks Make a change, share your story. We’re in this together...
We are A Bundle of Sticks.

A Bundle of Sticks is a chance for like-minded people to share their stories, their hardships and to let them be heard to support and inspire others who feel frightened and scared to come out of the closet. Their stories are able to help inspire and open up the minds of the world that think it is our choice to be LGBTQ+ and inspire those who feel frighten and afraid, letting them know it’s okay and it does get better.

A few months back I sat down with .of.hours to get to the roots of why I started this platform. It was a great conversation in raising awareness around LGBTQ+ youth as well as my own road to self acceptance. Give it a listen!

As many people get ready to adventure home for the holidays and spend time with their loved ones. Times like this can be extremely difficult, not only for those affected by new covid restrictions but for the q***r and trans community where spreading joy doesn’t always guarantee unconditional love.

For many who feel they aren’t able to come out or be themselves, can mean a time of stress and difficulty.

Here are some things that have helped us!
What about you?

• Set Boundaries.
• Have friends you can call & text.
• Family doesn’t always have to be blood, celebrate the holidays with your chosen family too.

Happy 🎉

In light of this very important day that represents the back bone of this publication, we want to thank everyone that has shared their incredibly vulnerable coming out stories through issue one and two so far.

These stories are so important for not only ourselves to have our voice be heard and own our journeys but for those still trying to find their way through uncertain times.

We also wanted to share the exciting news that we are officially reopening submissions for issue three of ABOS. ✨

Yaaaaas we are so thrilled to be able to provide another publication filled with incredible, personal and creative stories and to provide this safe space for everyone. We encourage everyone to get writing.

Please email [email protected] to submit your stories.

We’re in this together 🏳️‍🌈
