Dear belles

This is one of our newest favourites - a wardrobe saviour we wanted to create when we first ventured into making dresses.

The Farewell Lovely trench is the perfectly louche wrap around in translucent georgette silk, with a dramatic oversized collar and lapels that stand up - away from the collarbone.

Worn over our dreamy Zelda's Waltz silk slip (included), this fantabulous outfit can be worn anywhere you want to up the glamour without looking like you put too much thought into it. Which is, frankly, our choice mode of existence.

We hope she gives you as much pleasure as she gives us every time we slip her on.

We hope you had the most delightful week.

Now we're done with January, we're already thinking in bloom and prepping for sunnier days ahead. Taking a petal from the divine .anderton, we're layering up our favourite 1940s-inspired cotton lawn Runaway Rose in sweet True Blue - that soft dusky blue of a glorious day when the sky starts morphing into night (also available in pacific aqua).

Wear yours with ballerina flats and cosy knits when sipping coffee somewhere lovely, or with heels and a perfect red lip when you want to up the glamour stakes.

Happy Friday - day of Freya, Venus and sweet lovin'.

We are honouring this simple fact by sauntering around our HQ in our favourite slips and cosy cardis, legs adorned in fine cable knits. It's a look we've adored since forever and works just as well these days as much as it always has.

For now we'll love you and leave you to get to know our Zelda's Waltz slip a little better.
