The OB was originally set up and run by two high school friends from opposite corners of the world, who met each other for the first time in rural Swaziland. After spending so much time together we discovered there were far more similarities than differences between us. We travelled extensively together and shared in adventures, after which we came up with a short list of shared philosophies to br

Doing right by people and respecting their culture - Create a commercial space to show each other what we are capable of. We set up the Outlandish Boutique to help us share our global culture through small scale professionals and worldwide artisans. In doing one's best, we mean, 'Take care of your customer, because they take care of you.' We pride ourselves in going the extra mile to ensure that our customers leave happy. We have a passion for environmental support and have pledged that a percent of our profits each year will go to preserving endangered animals and ecosystems through our partnership with Rhino Conservation Botswana over 2017. (Please head over to their website and make small or generous donation, if you can. These wonderful men and women are helping to save and preserve endangered species in Sub Saharan Africa). The Outlandish Boutique partners with small scale producers who also believe that to make something by hand takes patience and temperance. We like to do all we can to embrace those artisans who invest time, effort and energy into creating something special! We’d like to share that philosophy with you & remind everyone that creativity is not lost.
