Sebby’s Corner is a London-based charity supporting vulnerable families facing poverty, homelessness,
domestic abuse, trafficking and other crisis situations.

They started as a small corner of a foodbank, and in just five years they have supported more than 10,000
vulnerable children and families with essentials like formula, nappies, clothing, school uniforms and even birthday gifts.

I am so proud to be an Ambassador for Sebby’s Corner. ❤

To celebrate their fifth anniversary, Sebby‘s Corner are running a very special matched giving campaign - and,
as their Ambassador, I am so excited to be sharing details of this truly meaningful campaign with my community here.

Starting this Sunday at 10am, every donation will be doubled for 36 hours only!

That means twice the impact for families who need it most.

When your wonderful clients do remarkable things …

Our incredible , and her Car Boot Sale for women and girls affected by war, does it again!

£430,886 raised for Women for Women UK in one day!

Mia and I popped in to the car park …

… for the best guilt free shopping as 100% of proceeds went to . Not some but 100% of the money we spent on preloved and new clothes. 💫

All of the car booters, volunteers, brands and donors were wonderful and the vibe - and music from a series of talented DJ’s - was just the electric! Women supporting women at its very best!

Bumped into the super talented and lovely and her stunning bump …

My stylist guiding me as to what to buy and what to not …

Of course we bought for Poppy as well …

I highly encourage all of you to diarise buying tickets early for next May as tickets sold out fast this year - so many incredible pieces on sale at equally incredible prices - and you can play your part in the already over £2.6 million raised since 2016 during Alex’s Car Boot Sales for women and girls affected by war.

Go with friends, go with daughters, go alone, just go!

As a Sebby’s Corner Ambassador I have the privilege of going behind the scenes at this remarkable charity.

And what I find - consistently - is how extraordinary Bianca, Katie, Emma and the whole team are! Deeply passionate about supporting vulnerable families right here on our doorstep in London and doing a fantastic job, day in day out.

Yesterday Joey and I got to drop off a carload of goodies for babies and children AND see the whole team too.

We are preparing for our Sebby’s Corner 36-hour matched giving appeal, where every single donation will be doubled! 🎉

The dates for this are Sunday 14th June - Tuesday 16th June and I’ll be posting more about this over the coming weeks as it’s such an easy way for you to make a meaningful impact for vulnerable families in London.

For now, if you have any buggies from newborn, baby carriers, clothes for 5–10 year olds and baby baths which you’d like to donate, that would be beyond valuable. 🙏✨

We’ve collaborated on a series of still life paintings that capture these small but meaningful objects, preserving them as lasting pieces for your home, and perhaps, in time, your little one’s home.

We’re now offering a limited number of commissions to create your own, whether as a personal keepsake or a meaningful gift.

Sending so much love to all mothers everywhere; I frequently speak about the mothering role, which is so generously, selflessly and valuably filled by women of all ages across the globe, every single day - whether we are mothers in the traditional sense of the word, or whether we mother the next generation through our daily guidance as colleagues, mentors, friends, family, godparents, neighbours, teachers, nurses … As women, we are all nurturers by nature.

Here too is to all our mothers who came before us, and their mothers, and beyond - who laid the path for us to walk. Whether those paths have been smooth or tough - none of us would be here were it not for our mothers.

So this is for our mothers, and for every one who mothers us, day in day out. We are grateful for the gift of you. We love you. A lot.

I got to see my Mum, Mia and Poppy today and feel truly blessed for the gift of that.
