Balls were dropped. Lessons were learnt.

This is our new product- our Stitch Your Christmas Cocktail Napkins- but instead of just gently suggesting you buy a box, I’m sharing all the balls I dropped to get here (and there were some clangers- watch all the way through to see the best 😭).

Anyway, if you fancied buying a box to help a girl out, they’re now live in my Christmas Shop (miraculously!)

Got a blunder you fancy sharing with the group to make us all feel better about ourselves? ⬇️

What with raising two small children and building a business, over the last year I kind of got out of the habit of consuming “art”, so when someone said I couldn’t miss the Schiaparelli exhibition Victoria and Albert Museum I bit the bullet and headed up to London, and oh my goodness, I’m so glad I did.

Swipe to see everything I came away from the incredible exhibition thinking about and what I’ll be trying to bring into my own creative business now I’m back in my studio.

This has shown me that I definitely need to get out more, so I’m also dying to hear your must-visit exhibitions or shows- drop them below ⬇️

Even the pros get tricked when we’re stitching. Here’re the bloopers from filming my new Stitch Eyes Glasses Case, including tangled threads, twisted strands, knots and unpicking stitches.

Where’s the fun in everything going right all the time?! Swipe to see the simple fixes for these annoying tricks that do make us better stitchers in the long run (we hope!).

And if you’re really stuck, remember our inbox is open for advice and there’s tutorials on our website too.

If you were the sort of kid in the 80s or 90s who had a slightly obsessive relationship with a sticker book, borrowed DK books from the library to learn new crafts or wrote notes to your mates with doodles in the margins…

Why’d you stop?

Our creative brain doesn’t disappear when we hit 18. Adulting just gets in the way.

I’ve been feeling a bit burnt out recently, and I’ve really shifted my day around so that I can fit in more stitching towards the end of the day when I start to feel overwhelmed. It’s incredible what being creative does to my busy brain.

If you’re feeling a bit meh as we hit autumn, maybe channelling your inner 10-year-old and picking up something creative for the first time in a while could help.

Can’t believe it’s 11 weeks ‘til Christmas.

Good news- our brand NEW Stitch Your Christmas Cocktails Napkins - Festive Embroidery Kit is now LIVE on the website.

Bad news- it’s a tough decision whether to stitch and keep for yourself or gift it this Christmas.

Solution? Buy two!
