This year has been a period of reflection and reassessment for PUSAKA.

After several years of building the studio through uncertainty and constant adaptation, I have reached a point where the practice can move with greater clarity and intention. With a more settled foundation, I want to dedicate more energy towards refining the language of PUSAKA, developing new work, and creating handcrafted jewellery with deeper focus and purpose.

As part of this transition, the PUSAKA studio will be moving back into a more personal working space in London. Returning closer to the workbench allows for a quieter rhythm of making — creating more room for research, experimentation, and the continued development of my filigree and silver jewellery practice.

During this period of transition, replies, orders, and studio updates may take a little longer than usual. Thank you for your patience and continued support as PUSAKA enters this next chapter.

I look forward to sharing new pieces, processes, and stories from the studio soon.

The garden returns slowly.

With the warmer weather, floral forms begin appearing again — carried through branches, shadows, light, and the small rituals of dressing.

Part of The Garden of Recollection, the Achillea Wrap Ring and Phlox Ring translate clustered blooms into layered silver filigree forms shaped by repetition, rhythm, and memory.

Worn together, the rings begin to gather like a flowering structure across the hand.

I have always been drawn to how certain flowers stay quietly attached to memory.

Melati reminds me of growing up in Indonesia — always present somewhere in the background, whether in gardens, ceremonies, or everyday spaces. That familiarity became part of the starting point behind .jewelry

These carved mother of pearl studs reinterpret floral forms inspired by melati, mawar, kamboja, and sakura into small pieces designed to be worn daily and kept for a long time.

The first production batch is now almost gone, with only a few pairs remaining across the collection.

Handmaking doesn’t teach patience.
It exposes the lack of it.

At the bench, there is no way around time.
Material resists, process unfolds in sequence, and every step depends on the one before it. What seems simple rarely is. What feels resolved often isn’t.

Over time, this changes how decisions are made.

Design becomes less about control, and more about response.
Attention becomes something to return to, not assume.
Slowness stops being a limitation, and begins to define the work.

This journal is a reflection on what making reveals — not only in the object, but in the way of working behind it.
