The designer duo behind My Trousseau are sisters Jazz and Suki Mahil, who have spent the past five years establishing their high-end fashion brand, JA.SU.MA, which stocks in departments stores and boutiques across Europe and the Middle East, including Harvey Nichols, Saks Fifth Avenue, Taten, Via Donna and Designers Lounge to name a few. howing the collections at the Four Seasons during Paris Fashion Week and the Tents or On/Off at London Fashion Week. Jazz has spent the past eight years training and nurturing a team of fine craftsman at their atelier just outside of Delhi. Each season the duo comes together here to create the innovative and high-quality designs that go into their next collection. Having spent the best part of a decade travelling between London and New Delhi, they noticed there was a big difference between the quality of Indian fashion available in the UK and India. Whilst India was pushing forward to compete on the international stage, Indian-fashion in the UK was seriously lagging. The duo decided to combine their experiences of the international fashion industry to launch My Trousseau, bringing high-quality, design-focused, Indian fashion to the UK and providing a service on par with international standards.
