Един бърз летен проект ми напомни, че културата не е само онова, изложено в музеите или написаното в книгите. Културата са обичаите, с които си израснал, занаятът на твоя народ, манталитетът и вярванията ти.

За мен културата са изтъканото наследство и плетените на една кука покривки от прабаба ми, пъстрите гоблени на баба ми и майчините плетени блузи, спретнато прибрани по шкафовете.

Това цветно бюстие е моят прочит на изтъканите колани и черги — два знакови елемента от българската култура. Изтъкани не само от цветни нишки, но и от векове обичаи и изящен занаят.
