So how do you know if your machine is a "slant needle?" Take a look at it from the needle end. If the needle is straight up and down you have a vertical needle machine. If it angles forward then your machine is a slant needle.

Hello Everyone! Getting slowly better at making Reels!
In the past few weeks, while waiting to start a new project I have made 1 petticoat, 3 skirts and a pair of trousers for myself.
I have cut and ready 1 trench coat and 1 jumpsuit.
Patterns that have come to the end of the development process and are ready to cut are:
-A red velvet 1890s inspired balloon sleeved blouse
-A contemporary raw yellow silk L/S blouse with a peplum
-A 1950s dress coat circa 1953 in green wool Cashmere summer weight suiting
-A 1940s pair of work overalls to be made up in burnt orange denim and blue that’s almost black.
-1940s silk blouses x2 to be made up in a patterned silk and then a deep red to go with the overalls.

I better get myself moving before the movies make a return!

Home in Ireland for a few days for Christmas and New Years! This knitting project is a Arran weight cable knit sweater that has Raglan sleeves. This means that the yoke is knitted straight and the bottom of the sweater is knitted out of the yoke. It is once again using Debbie Bliss yarn. This time I am using Cashmerino Arran. The pattern is called 'Frances' it's digital and available to download from lovecrafts.com
