Lived in London for 14 years and my first time to Hampstead. Crazy I know! Picnicked in the park, views over london, saw the ponds and finished the day on a concoction of drinks forgetting we don’t have the stamina of our twenties anymore 🤪

I wear what makes me feel my best and me happy 💁‍♀️

You don’t need to chase trends. Chase pieces that make you feel like you and ultimately you forget you’re wearing so you can focus on the things that really matter 💃

This was inspired by a really good post by .stewish about this and couldn’t agree more. Go read it on her Substack for more.

It’s not about reinventing the wheel, just tuning into what already works.

I bought this blue top from & Other Stories a couple of years ago and have worn it a lot! The ruffle sleeve, the shape of it, I really like and works on me. So when I spotted this one in M&S , I didn’t have to think twice, I knew the shape was right, just had to check fit and colour.

So that’s the trick really. Stop chasing what’s trending and start noticing what you already reach for the most, and why. Once you know the why, you know what to look for next so you can build a wardrobe you will actually enjoy wearing 💫
