Summer pop up incoming!

Here is just a small snapshot of some of the lovely pieces, gifts and accessories we will have in the Woodstock pop up next week - starting June 1st - what a great way to start the month.

Did you watch the wonderful tribute to Sir David Attenborough last night? Could this be a moment in time, a time when our global consciousness about the natural world shifts for the better? A time when we all decide that watching is wonderful but it's the doing that creates change? I urge you to follow your heart, be outside, connect with the natural world around you and take your lead from it - what could you do? How could you help? It could be something small like planting a seed and nurturing what grows; or it could be something big like a donation to a conservation charity. There are so many ways we can all get involved, that's the wonderful thing about Nature - it is part of all of us. We are it and it is us. So wouldn't us all getting involved in supporting the natural world be an amazing birthday gift to Sir David? I can't imagine he'd wish for anything else!

Good news, we are coming back for a whole week, in real life - a June pop up!

We will be appearing in the lovely Cotswolds town of Woodstock, with a shop full of our gorgeous sustainable brands across clothing, gifts and homeware. Plus a delightful stock of pre-loved pieces and info on the best ways to repair and refresh your pieces. Yes, the Buy Well, Mend, Extend mantra is still going strong. Never has the world needed it more methinks.

More info to follow, and perhaps a bit of behind-the-scenes about what had been happening recently too!

Oh, and I mustn't forget the new WhatsApp Shop - have you seen it? The number is in bio. Send a message there and you'll see a catalogue. If you are local to me you can order through there for home delivery - or if you are not local you can still shop there, with paid for delivery in the usual way.

What a great day! Thankyou to everyone who came for our last day in the Long Crendon shop - and all of you who have shopped, mended, sold preloved with us!

The shop has been exactly what we wanted it to be - a place to chat to you all, learn about what you want from sustainability and fashion, introduce you to some wonderful brands and businesses, and talk about our Buy Well Mend Extend mantra - all in a lovely rural location surrounded by nature!

This is certainly the beginning of a new chapter for Comhla and one I’m really excited for!

Can’t wait to see you again at our future pop ups, send you beautiful things via our website and keep in touch here and on the website / email sign up.

Thankyou! And a big thankyou to Megan too, the brilliant lady who is in the shop when I can’t be, and looks after customers fantastically! And to Lindsay who mends and alters your pieces with such skill and speed!

We will be open late on Friday too so if you have another urge for a glass of something and a shop - well you can!

Very excited for the first pop-up with this weekend at our shop. Make sure you get your ticket to bag a discounted glass of wine and a taste of another for a cheeky £5, otherwise walk-ins welcome. Can’t wait to see you there!

Small business life is a funny one - we had a run on embroidered baskets last week - no marketing reason we could follow a trail for - just a flurry of shop and website sales 🤷‍♀️. Happy for us though!
