I QUALIFIED AS A INFANT MASSAGE TEACHER IN 2017 AND EXTENDED MY QUALIFICATIONS TO DELIVER YOGA, SIGN AND MESSY CRAFT SESSIONS. I JUGGLE THIS WITH BEING A MOTHER TO MY DAUGHTER.
Before taking time off to have my daughter I worked as a Head of Department in a Secondary School, teaching Health and Social Care & Food Nutrition and Health at GCSE and A Level.
My mother in law had told me for years that I was teaching the wrong age group and should work with the little ones, and it was only when I started training for baby massage that I realised she was right. The thing I love about baby massage is the way I can help new parents build a bond with their new born and it is very instant - I can literally see it happen before my eyes, and this is a very special thing.
I love the way baby massage, yoga, sign & sensory and messy crafts helps both parent and child and I really get gratification from this.I hold the Touch Learn International Infant Massage and a full and valid first aid certificate.
