If you’re new here..! It started with a wrong turn on a bike in Japan. 🚲 I got completely lost and stumbled into a secondhand kimono shop filled with the most extraordinary fabrics I’d ever seen. That moment changed everything.

I’m Hetty. I make bespoke handmade shoes from vintage Japanese kimono fabrics and I teach others to do the same from my studio in Maidstone, Kent (an hour from London).

We met in the Scottish highlands last year where Lily was teaching her lingerie workshop and I was teaching an espadrille sandal course. We decided to create a matching shoes, bra and knickers set using this beautiful and bright vintage Japanese kimono fabric and the results are so gorgeous! Hope you like them ❤️ Orders on request.
