Hello , it’s village vintages 2nd birthday! 🎂🥂✨✨✨
, I had an idea two years ago that I would sell vintage furniture and goods as a business, I had been selling decor , wreaths and antique and vintage furniture privately since I think 2006? , I’ve always loved interior design especially old style! .
I always knew I would start my own business but just didn’t know in what , I loved my floristry and wreaths but hated making orders , and I couldn’t be an interior designer because Iam crap at maths and computers! .
I was so inspired by my dad’s love and career with art , decoration, ornate wallpaper and beautiful house interior design that he worked in I guess it rubbed off on me !. He was so talented! .
so Iam no Drew Prichard 🤣 but Iam obsessed with what I do especially staging for photography shoots .
Thank you to everyone who has bought of me , sold furniture, donated to me ! , I’ve been quietly working away sourcing new stock. To my mum for helping a lot at fairs etc and Martin for his massive support and help .
I’ve never felt like I found my calling until this happened to me so long story short do what makes you happy and if you can’t find the right job make your own job !
I loved my decades in care but my quirky brain needs to be creative!
