HOW CAN WE MAKE OUR MASJID THE HEART OF OUR COMMUNITY?
With the rising cost of living, donations are becoming more challenging for families and institutions. This raises an important question:
How can we develop sustainable services that increase attendance and engage our youth?
Our Masjid is more than a place of worship. It is a place to learn, connect, support one another and grow together.
We should explore new ideas across sports, education, business, family activities and community events—while keeping our Islamic values at the heart of everything we do.
This is not about changing who we are. It is about finding new ways to serve our community while preserving our faith, traditions and identity.
What ideas would you like to see? Share your thoughts. Together, we can make a difference, Insha’Allah.

YOU CAN START FROM ANYWHERE!
There is always something that needs to be done.
The entrance to the female quarters at Hounslow Jamia Masjid had become overgrown with bushes and wild vegetation, making the area look untidy and unwelcoming.
Trustee Bahadur Khan, along with a couple of dedicated volunteers, took on the task of clearing the entire area. Their hard work has made a real difference, and the entrance is now looking much more pleasant.
BRAVO! 👏 A huge thank you to Bahadur Khan and all the volunteers who came along to help. Your time, effort and commitment to our Masjid are truly appreciated.
And as for me, the cramps, creaking bones and aching muscles are telling me one thing loud and clear: it’s time to get back to the gym! 😂💪
Every little effort counts. Together, we can make a difference, Insha’Allah.
