Well, we survived the great British weather yesterday, the gazebo is still in one piece and it's not raining!
We are all set up for day 2 of the Festival of Arts and Crafts. There is plenty to see and do for the whole family, including art exhibition, workshops, live music, food and lots of lovely stalls ready to welcome you.
Come and join the fun!

Looking forward to the Burghfield May Fayre on Sunday - hope you can pop along to see us!

Burghfield May Fayre returns across Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th May 2026 at the Hatch.

Saturday is our kids and family disco from midday to 11pm with DJs, live music, street food and bar.

Sunday is the more traditional May Fayre from 10am to 4pm with 80+ stalls, arena displays, dog show, circus skills, Tug-of-War, street food and bar.

We can't wait to see you there.

Spring is in the air! Join us at our Love Local Artisan Fair to celebrate all things local and explore unique craft across over 70 stalls around the House and grounds. From homeware, garden goods and clothing to jewellery, food and drink; there will be plenty for everyone!

Treat yourself to lunch in our café or from outdoor caterers and support the creative talent West Berkshire and surrounding areas have to offer. For our younger visitors there will be themed craft and colouring in our Activity Room and trail sheets to explore the House with.

Sunday 12 April | 11am – 3pm | Adults £2, Children £1 (Free for children aged 3 years and under) | Pay on the door
