We’re incredibly proud to celebrate the news that The Ruck & Maul Club Ambassador, Sarah Houghting , has been accepted onto the Every Rose Match Official Programme! 🌹🏉

Supporting grassroots talent and creating opportunities for people to progress in rugby is at the heart of what we do at The Ruck & Maul Club, so it’s fantastic to see Sarah take this next step in her officiating journey.

The Every Rose Match Official Programme, an England Rugby initiative, is designed to support and develop women match officials and help create a clear pathway for progression within the game.

It’s about much more than simply getting out on the pitch. The programme provides officials with opportunities to develop their skills, knowledge and confidence, gain valuable experience, access support and mentoring, and work towards progressing through the officiating pathway — from grassroots rugby towards higher levels of the game.

For Sarah, joining the programme is another important step in her journey as a match official and an opportunity to continue developing, learning and challenging herself alongside other aspiring women officials.

We’re passionate about championing people from the grassroots and helping shine a light on the talent within our rugby community. Sarah is a brilliant example of that. ❤️

We couldn’t be prouder to have her representing The Ruck & Maul Club as our Ambassador.
