I am SO proud of the quality of my bloomer trousers - since launching them a year ago, I have refined the construction, and now all bloomers are finished with french seams, vintage lace, quality elastic and always vintage and/or deadstock fabrics. I make everything myself, and have been known to spend far too long making each pair perfect! As a result, I have been paying myself well below living wage, and with the increase in fabric costs and overheads, I need to make a little change!
The price increase won’t be huge, comparable to a light lunch at a cafe - but it will make a significant difference to me, and allow me to continue making beautiful, quality garments for (hopefully!) years to come 🧡
