This is a blouse I am currently altering. I should have photographed it before unpicking 🤦‍♀️

Here’s what Im doing:
Adding bust darts
Adding back darts
Raising the front and creating a dipped hem
Raising the back through the yoke
Taking in under the arm and reshaping the armhole.

My heart is broken by the news of the passing of an absolute fashion legend, Dame Vivienne Westwood.
She was one of the designers who inspired me to make London my home over 22 years ago.
My heart is with her husband Andreas Kronthaler, the rest of her family and fashion team.

She was an advocate for the climate crisis and human rights, as well as changing the face of fashion.
Rest in peace Dame Westwood.

Matching strips for pockets 🪡🪡

The mens mandarin jacket is coming along nicely. There is always a lot of hand stitching in bespoke jackets but it is absolutely worth it.

The patch pockets are lined and bagged out then tacked in place. After fitting, the pockets will be stitched more securely by hand .
