Apologies to anyone who came to our shop this afternoon to find we were closed. Unfortunately I had to shut at 2pm as I had a family medical emergency, my mum who has alzheimers had a nasty fall so I needed to be in a&e to support her.

Im trying to reach a mum who brought her daughter in today for a Horbury Academy Y7 fitting.

We decided on 32" shirts, did consider moving upto a 34" but when fitted with the blazer, everything looked perfect.

As the shop was manic at the time, and I had several packs of shirts opened and I've ended up giving you 2 different size shirts. One which is definitely too small as one of them is a 30" 🙈.

Hopefully you see this and can cone back to exchange.

We're half way through the Summer holidays, so now is the ideal time to be buying school shoes. We have a good range of boys & girls Hush Puppies which are a full leather shoe offering superb comfort. We have a good range from junior styles through to high school styles. Some of the shoes even offer an interchangeable insole which changes the width and length, giving you a perfect fit 🙂

In addition to the embroidered items, we also stock a good range of senior boys and girls shirts and trousers. We receive great feedback on the quality and fit, so no need to worry if you are buying the right style.
Trousers are available in waist sizes and various leg lengths, so they give more options than buying by age. Shirts for boys are measured by collar size, and for girls by chest size, ensuring you get a perfect fit. Our shirts are amazing quality, non iron and stay white, so only need replacing every couple of years 🙂

Now it's cooler and before it heats up again next week, now is the ideal time to come in for your uniform fitting.

Don't feel you need to wait in case your child grows, as we always fit with plenty of growing room, giving you full assurance that if your child were to grow out of anything between now and starting in September, we would of course exchange for a bigger size (just leave the tags on), although this very rarely happens due to our experience in fitting uniforms.

Thank you to everyone who came in for a School Uniform fitting during May half term. Don't think it's too early, whether you have a child starting school for the very first time or moving to a new school in September, we always fit with plenty of growing room. We also give you complete reassurance that if your child was to grow over the summer, providing the tags are still intact, we would exchange sizes anyway.

If you have a daughter, or know anyone starting at OSSETT ACADEMY or HORBURY ACADEMY this September who is petite in height, we now have our shorter-length skirts in stock. As these are special orders and not available on the shop floor, now is the ideal time to come for a fitting and secure your stock. Please share/tag friends who you think may need a shorter length skirt 😀
