🎤 Year 10 Students Shine at Trinity Cup Debating Competition 🎤

Eight Year 10 students proudly represented the school at the Trinity Cup Debating Competition at Notre Dame Sixth Form College, tackling a range of challenging ethical and philosophical topics, from the use of AI in religious practices to whether suffering happens for a reason.

The students impressed judges and peers alike with their critical thinking, public speaking and teamwork. A special congratulations to Gerald, who received an award for exemplifying the school’s virtues, particularly empathy, throughout the day.

We are incredibly proud of the maturity, confidence and respect shown by all students as they engaged in thought-provoking debate and represented the school so brilliantly. 👏✨

From September 2026, all children in households receiving Universal Credit will be entitled to a Free School Meal.

🎓Year 12 @ The University of Hull🎓

Our Year 12 students had a fantastic day visiting the University of Hull, exploring the campus, attending seminars and gaining an insight into university life.

The experience helped students learn more about higher education and consider their future pathways after sixth form.
