Currently on the needles: the Veiga scarf by

The pattern? Love it.
The tutorials? Genuinely helpful.
The knitting? Smooth sailing.

The colour choices?

Absolute chaos.

Even after casting on, I’ve been swapping colours in and out.
I’ve currently settled on:
Meristem Pink
Meristem Ember
Ion Spray
Lumen Drift

(but this may still change…)

The challenge is all of our colours work so well together.... almost like I planned it.

Does anyone else spend hours rearranging colours instead of just knitting?

I don’t think I’ll ever get used to this…

There’s something really lovely about seeing yarn you’ve made turn up in real life

I've spent years working as a bench scientist, so it still feels a bit surreal that something that started in the lab is now being knitted up and worn and enjoyed.

These are a few current projects from our local knitting group; , Madeline and all working on very different things with the same yarn, which I always love to see.

It makes the whole thing feel very real.

Meet the Bodley Sweater ✨

Designed by , this seamless, top-down knit is worked in the round and pairs thoughtful construction with gorgeous colourwork. The circular yoke takes its inspiration from the iconic staircase of Bodley Tower at Christ Church, Oxford, giving the design a subtle architectural fel that’s as satisfying to knit as it is to wear.

We’ve launched the Bodley Sweater as a bundle, so you’ve got everything you need in one go: a printed pattern and all the yarn to bring it to life (with the contrast hank on us 😉).

It’s designed especially for our colourfast, plant-dyed DK yarn — so you get all the richness of natural colour, without compromising on performance.

If you cast one on, we’d love to see it 💛

We’re so excited to be heading to Buxton Wool Gathering on the 16th & 17th May!

It’s one of our favourite kinds of weekends, beautiful yarns, brilliant people, and plenty of knitting inspiration, and we can’t wait to be part of it this year.

We’ll have our full range of colourfast, plant-dyed yarns with us, including our new colour palette that launched last month 👀 Think rich, nature-led shades, all created without synthetic dyes or mordants!

If you’re coming along, do pop by and say hello, we’d love to meet you, talk all things yarn, and help you find your next project.

See you in Buxton!
